WEDNESDAY

Girls Soccer

Class 7A-District 8

North Port 7, Gulf Coast 2: Sierra Spirk scored five goals for North Port in the win.

Class 6A-District 12

Riverdale 8, Immokalee 0: Bailey Trosterud had a hat-trick in the Raiders shutout win. Natalie Grant had two goals and one assist, while Skylar Hubbard had one goal and three assists. Arianna Ramos tacked on one goal, while Evelisse Martinez and Brooklyn Alvarez added one assist each.

Class 5A-District 12

Golden Gate 3, East Lee 0

Lely 4, Bonita Springs 1

Class 5A-District 11

Cape Coral 9, South Fort Myers 0: Cameron Fallacara notched a hat trick to lead the Seahawks past the Wolfpack. Mikala Allen had one goal and three assists, while Isabella Cruz, Emily Carmean, Abby Mourning all had one goal and one assist each. Emily Graulich and Sophia Fallacara scored one goal each, while Emmy Pardo tacked on one assist in the winning effort.

Lemon Bay 9, DeSoto County 0: The Manta Rays advance to face LaBelle next week.

Girls Weightlifting

Class 2A-District 13: Fort Myers High swept the team titles for Olympic and traditional lifts, while LaBelle came in as the runner-up. The Green Wave scored 88 points for traditional (bench press, clean and jerk) and 90 for Olympic (snatch, clean and jerk) while Lablle registered 57 and 55, respectively.

Mariner 110-pounder Kassidy Emerick was the traditional top lifter based on body weight to weight lifted, while Fort Myers 129-pounder Samantha Reidenbach was the top Olympic lifter.

Class 2A-District 14: Barron Collier swept the team titles for traditional and Olympic lift in its first year as a program with 72 points in the traditional (bench press, clean and jerk) and 80 for Olympic (snatch, clean and jerk).

Bonita Springs finished as runner-ups with 33 and 34 points, respectively. Naples rounded out the podium with 29 points in both categories.

139-pounder Shamoya Clemetson was the traditional top lifter based on body weight to weight lifted as well as the top Olympic lifter.

Girls Basketball

South Fort Myers 54, Seacrest 38: Jayda Green scored 8 points to secure her place in the career 1,000 point club. Kimber Swift had a game-high 22 points on six made three-pointers. Makayla Sprague added 10 points.

Gateway 50, Cypress Lake 36: Thatiyana Holiday, Kenyah Mass and Miracle Salters all had 14 points each in the Eagles’ win. Bri Madore led the Panthers with 12 points, and Fay Hayes added 6 points.

Bishop Verot 34, Palmetto Ridge 27: Cameron O’Halloran led the Vikings with 11 points, and Josee Fry added 6 points in the win.

Cape Coral 46, Oasis 35: The Sharks were led by Emma Osinski who had 18 points. Maci Stambaugh added 11 and Brynn Stambaugh had 5 points. Fara Paul scored 1 point in the loss.

Lehigh 51, St. John Nuemann 44: Faith Plummer tallied a game-high 19 points for the Lightning. Rianne Smith added 11 points in the win.

Boys Basketball

North Fort Myers 88, Riverdale 54: Atavious Weaver joined the 1,000 point club in the Red Knights’ win on Tuesday night. Quentin Wimbush broke North Fort Myers legend Deion Sanders’ single-game scoring record in the win over Riverdale, erupting for 45 points.

First Baptist 70, Naples 68: Latrell Davis scored 21 points to help lift the Lions past the Golden Eagles in overtime. Yohandry Ortiz added 20 points, and Adrian Rodriguez tacked on 15 points. Joshua Smilien led Naples with 17 points.

Community School of Naples 63, Southwest Florida Christian 34: Brennan Ringhofer had 16 points in the King’s win. Jackson McAdams added 13 points, and Aidan Doyle had 10 points.

Seacrest 66, South Fort Myers 42: Nick Cassano’s 20 point outing led the Stingrays to their sixth win in seven games. Ben Cassano had 17 points, and Malachi Plummer added 13 points in the win.

St. John Neumann 67, Bonita Springs 52: TJ Zelek knocked down seven triples for his game-high 21 points. Eric Morgan had 18 Points. Josiah Sessler led the Bullsharks with 16 points, and Brady Taylor added 14 points in the loss.

Gateway 70, Golden Gate 60

MONDAY

Girls Basketball

Mariner 56, Oasis 29: Brynn Stambaugh and Emma Osinski led the Sharks with 11 points and 10 points, respectively. Maci Stambaugh scored 4 points in the loss, while both Mandolin Graham and Izzy Iriarte both had 2 points each on Senior Night. 

Boys Basketball

St. John Neumann 74. Village School of Naples 43: Jack London tallied a game-high 23 points for the Celtics, while Eric Morgan tacked on 14 points in the win. Luke Bower had 17 points for the Knights.
